Apple Discount Drugs Welcomes Michael Dunn to the Apple Infusion Team
Fruitland – Apple Discount Drugs is pleased to announce the addition of Michael Dunn to the Apple Infusion team. Dunn comes to Apple from Delmarva Public Radio as the Director of Corporate Support, and more recently, Interim General Manager. He is a near lifelong resident of Salisbury. He graduated from Wicomico High School and then Salisbury University with a degree in Communication Arts.
He brings twelve years of experience in pharmaceutical sales to the job from his work with Sanofi Aventis Pharmaceuticals. During his tenure as a pharmaceutical representative, Mike called on physicians, hospitals and pharmacies on Delmarva and in the Baltimore metro area.
“Mike’s long standing relationships within the community will serve him, and the business well, in marketing Apple Infusion,” said Jeff Sherr, President, Apple Discount Drugs and Apple Infusion. “His experience in pharmaceutical sales and background in marketing and communications will undoubtedly help our infusion business grow and reach a broader customer-base.”
“Apple Infusion and Jeff Sherr have a fantastic reputation in the community – as a health care provider and as a fully integrated supporter of so many local causes,” said Mike Dunn, Marketing Director, Apple Infusion. “When I first met Jeff in the 1980’s, during my time as a drug rep, Apple was known then, as it is now, as a first class company – striving to put its customers and employees first. That appealed to me. Working with Apple and the people who have helped make it what it is has been fantastic. In my duties as Marketing Director of Apple Infusion, I’m able to represent this great company in the eyes of the healthcare decision makers.”
In his spare time, you can find Mike giving back to his community in many ways. He serves as the Co-chair for Wicomico Relay For Life, the Chair/Founder of Red White and BOOM! – Salisbury’s community fireworks presentation, sits on the grants committee of the Community Foundation of Eastern Shore, on the community/education grants committees for Salisbury Wicomico Arts Council and is a member of the Winter Wonderland of Lights Committee.
Mike lives in Salisbury with his wife Karen, a Clinical Nurse Manager at PRMC.
